In light of the unexpected death of Anna R., the lead singer of the band Rosenstolz, singer Marianne Rosenberg has expressed a newfound appreciation for her experiences as she ages. During her appearance on the Radio Bremen talk show „3nach9“ on Friday evening, the 70-year-old artist shared her thoughts on the impact of Anna R.’s passing, stating, „what I have been able to experience since turning 55 years old.“ Anna R., who was 55, was found dead in Berlin on March 16.

Feeling Grateful in a Difficult Time

Rosenberg conveyed that the news of her colleague’s death left her profoundly affected and unhappy. She described it as a significant loss that prompted her to value the time she has left on this planet even more. Reflecting on her own career, she noted that she released a number-one album at the age of 65, demonstrating her belief that aging can come with its own rewards. „I have no problem being old. I am very fine at the place where I am,“ she remarked, emphasizing her contentment with her current stage in life.
